NBA Fans will be aware that former President Barack Obama has been a huge basketball fan. This game took place on the 49th birthday of the former President in 2010. And a signed ball from the stars is all set to hit up the auction pool.

According to the reports of TMZ, that particular ball is up for sale through Heritage Auctions and was expected to bring a high offer of around $12,000. Moreover, it is already beat that estimate with a bid of $17,500. The signs on the ball includes legends of the sport like– Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James.

To those who are not aware, back in 2010, the Associated Press reported the game took place at Fort McNair before Obama and some of the basketball superstars returned to the White House for a barbecue. It was played to benefit wounded warriors and members of a White House mentorship program.

No media members were allowed inside the gym, so no footage from the event, which also featured Bill Russell, Maya Moore, Dwyane Wade, Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah, among others, has been publicly released. Later that year, Barack Obama required 12 stitches after being hit in the lip by an inadvertent elbow during a separate pickup basketball game.

That being said, the bidding is scheduled to take place on the 28th of February. Hopefully hoop fans could get their checkbooks ready as the particular ball is bound to be sold at a mouth-watering and staggering price. How often can one get a ball signed by all legends at once?
