Kyle Kuzma has been simply breath-taking ever since he has joined the Washington Wizards in the 2021-22 season. Having helped one of the most depleted teams, he is one of the top contenders for the Most Improved Player Award. Moreover, game after game, Kuz has been registering high scores for his team to an extend that he has become the team’s leading scorer as compared to Bradley Beal. 

During Washington Wizards most recent encounter against the Orlando Magic, Kyle Kuzma was once again at his best as he almost managed to register his career’s first significant triple-double until rookie Corey Kispert utilized his pass. The former managed to register 18 points, 10 rebound sand 9 assists against the Magic and if that pass was gathered, Kuzma would have managed to do achieve this feat as well.

Kuzma’s pass was dwell held by Kispert but being as open as anybody on the floor, he decided to lay the pass to KCP for a shot. As a result of which, Kuzma was not able to register another assist against his name. 

The streak of eight straight 20-point games is a bigger accomplishment for Kuzma than a triple-double is, so maybe Kyle should have just taken the shot? I’ll tell you one thing–if Kuzma knew Kispert was going to pass the ball, he damn sure would have shot it himself. In the end, though, the Wizards got the 112-106 victory over the away team, only to register a 3-game winning streak now. Moreover, charismatic marquee scorer of Washington once again managed to lead his team in every way.

That being said, Kuzma’s attention would be to register his career’s first triple-double against the Portland Trail Blazers when they visit Washington D.C. in their next contest. With Damian Lillard being out, due to treatment of his abdominal, Trail Blazers will be expecting their young guns to battle hard against Kuzma and Co.
