Charles Barkley criticizes the Lakers management
Charles Barkley comes down hard on the Los Angeles Lakers as the blame starts moving coach Frank Vogel and Russell Westbrook’s way. The Lakers have had a disastrous season thus far. They are still one game below .500, halfway into the season with a 22-23 record for the season.
The Lakers have several problems this season that go way beyond injuries and Covid protocols. They are 23rd in the league in Offensive Rating (108.4) and 20th in Defensive rating (110). These are not the numbers a championship team or even a strong contender would have. LeBron James has been balling out this season scoring at 28.8 Points per game. But he has had little to no support as the rest of the team continues to struggle. They lose to the strong teams and barely win against the below .500 teams.

Rumors have it that Lakers Head coach Frank Vogel was on the verge of being fired after an embarrassing 37-point loss handed by the Denver Nuggets. But it is still likely that Vogel will get sacked as the Lakers lost again to the 5th worst team in the NBA, the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday. Russell Westbrook has been getting his fair share of the blame too as his string of poor performances.

Charles Barkley lashes out at the Lakers management
Charles Barkley however believes that it is unfair to blame Frank Vogel and Russell Westbrook. Instead, it is the Lakers’ front office and GM Rob Pelinka responsible for putting together a roster of players that are past their primes and are slow on the court. Having said that, LeBron James usually has big role too in getting the roster together for his team.
Charles Barkley said about the Lakers’ front office – “The Lakers are such wussies. The way they are trying to throw Russell Westbrook and Frank Vogel under the bus is just pissing me off. I am not gonna sit like all these clowns on other networks [who] got thier head up Lakers’ b*oties. Now, they are blaming Frank Vogel and Russell Westbrook…listen, the people up top who put that trash together are running and hiding like cowards saying Frank and Russ. The general [manager]…whoever is running that trash out there, it is ridiculous man”
