Recently, in the postgame interview, LeBron James was asked about his reaction to Tom Brady’s retirement announcement after the game against the New York Knicks.
Here’s what LeBron said on Brady’s retirement, “I personally was just like so in shock when I saw it. “I was one of the ones that didn’t say anything when the first initial announcement came out. I didn’t retweet anything. I didn’t say anything. Cause I wanted to make sure I heard it from him.” LeBron continued after his win over the Knicks on Saturday night, “It’s a guy who’s been kind of my motivation factor over the last few years.”

Why Tom Brady was an inspiration to LeBron James?
NFL legendary Quarterback Tom Brady has been an inspiration to a lot of athletes and LeBron James seems to be one of them. Initially, he was not a star player like James, his career was full of struggle and he was not even selected until the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft but gradually through his hard work, he became the most successful player in the NFL history.
Further, LeBron James added, “Seeing what he’s able to do at his age. Always being a leader of a team. Even at his age, people still gravitate towards him. His energy, how he prepares. Things of that nature. Small piece of me was definitely left when Brady decided to retire, that’s for sure.”
In the future the reality will be crueler as Tom Brady’s retirement is giving us the clear reminder that NBA star LeBron James is also on the verge of his career and might announce for his further life in two-three years. But are the NBA fans ready to face it?
