The LA Lakers have suffered yet another embarrassing defeat without their marquee player LeBron James. The 36-years-old veteran guard has been ruled out of game action for a week after he last played against the Houston Rockets on Tuesday. Although LeBron James suffered an injury, yet he managed to come out to play for the Los Angeles Lakers in their previous three game. But now as the Akron native sat out, the purple and gold once against lost to Oklahoma City Thunder in poor fashion. 

LeBron James has been ruled out for a week due to a rectus abdomen pain. As per reports of ESPN according to Sports Illustrated, the Los Angeles Lakers’ medical staff wants to take their time with the 4xNBA champion’s recovery. Lebron James could have ended up sustaining this injury during Los Angeles Laker’s last game against the Jalen Green led Rockets earlier.

Knowing that LeBron James absence has seen Lakers’ fall down to 1-2 record, it seems like Russell Westbrook has had problems leading the team in clutch situation. The Los Angeles Lakers will be on the road since Saturday when they face off against Portland Trail Blazers.
