Stephen A. Smith is the most straightforward and brutally honest analyst the television has seen and he has proved it many times as he isn’t afraid of anyone when he says what he wants to. Recently, he made it to the headlines as he added another name to the G.O.A.T debate of Michael Jordan and LeBron James. The other name is Kareem Abdul Jabbar someone who should have always been there but unfortunately, the fans forget his greatness and heroics back in the days when he single-handedly dominated the entire league. Stephen A. Smith though gave a gentle reminder to everyone around who is sleeping on the Laker Legend while they discuss the other two as the greatest of all time.
Michael Jordan and LeBron James are all-time greats of the games and their respective fanbases also regard them as the G.O.A.T. But so is Kareem Abdul Jabbar and the fact that he gets left out of such conversations which he initiated back in the days is unfortunate. One of the many reasons for it is fans haven’t seen him play and destroy as they have for Michael Jordan and LeBron James. Even the social media has played a great role in boosting up the Michael Jordan and LeBron James debate. But if we compare the resumes of the three megastars in the conversation Kareem Abdul Jabbar stands at the top as the better one and that’s what Stephen A. Smith focused on sitting alongside Jimmy Fallon.
Stephen A. Smith on “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon” played the game called “Wheel of Opinion” and had to give his opinion on the evergreen debate topic of Michael Jordan or LeBron James. It was an easy deal for the analyst as he chose Black Jesus over King James in just a few seconds and adding to it ranked LeBron James in the third place as he brought Kareem Abdul Jabbar into the conversation.

Further making his case stronger he took a shot at LeBron James and the disappointing Los Angeles Lakers as he quoted: “LeBron James is phenomenal. He’s on the Mount Rushmore of basketball. He’s all that and a bag of chips. But he did lose six NBA Finals, and he is the star on a team that is presently 18 games below .500.” Stephen A. Smith made complete sense as he added another name to the debate leaving the fans confused.
