LeBron James had a statement game against Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors after the LA Lakers broke their 4-game losing streak. LeBron James has joined the elite company consisting of Jordan, Bryant, and Crawford for scoring more than 50 points or more at the age of 37.

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers snapped out of a 4-game losing streak, a tough week for the Lakers after humiliating losses to the Clippers and Pelicans. The Lakers after all the booing came out as a strong team, which saw the whole team working like a well-oiled engine. The Los Angeles Lakers emerged as the winner after grinding for a win late in the fourth quarter, with 124-116. The game did not come easy, especially in the fourth quarter. The game saw both the Lakers and the Warriors trading blows at full swings, they both had a response for each other. It was a back-and-forth match sequence so electrifying; it gave vibes straight out of a movie.

LeBron James was at it again, right in the middle of the show running the Lakers offense. It looked to have brought out an energized Lakers team, after what could be said a humiliating week for the Lakers after the 4-game losing streak. LeBron James was the highest scorer for the night and historically, James got 56 points, 3 assists, and 10 rebounds. Russell Westbrook had a good match himself, after all the criticism going around him lately. Stephen Curry and the Warriors are now on a 4-game losing streak. The Lakers will, however, be facing the San Antonio Spurs in the next game.

He became just the 4th player to have had a 50-point game at the age of 37. LeBron James’ greatness continues to see him break records, not only that LeBron James against the Warriors has overtaken Karl Malone in the All-time minutes played in the NBA, with Playoffs and regular season combined, he is just behind Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the number 1 spot. Michael Jordan was the first one to score 51 points in 2001, followed by Kobe Bryant, who scored 60 points for the Lakers in his last game for them, and Jamal Crawford was the third person who scored 51 points. LeBron James is following his idol’s footsteps in search of greatness.

LeBron James is the seventh player for the Lakers to have had multiple 50-points games, the highest he had scored for the Lakers was back in 2018 when he was in his 16th game for the Lakers and scored 51 points against the Miami Heat, Kobe Bryant has had 25 50-points games for the Lakers and who scored 60-points in his last game for the Lakers at the age of 37. LeBron James after last night has had 13 50-points games in his career.
