LeBron James to Miami Heat? NBA Fans on Twitter outraged after analyst suggests unorthodox trade involving Lakers’ last hope
Los Angeles Lakers vs Miami Heat
LeBron James along with his team the Los Angeles Lakers have been going downhill for the past few months and haven’t really had any impact in the league in this entire season. Now the burden for such a struggling state of the Lakers needs to fall on somebody, and it keeps shifting between Russell Westbrook, LeBron James, Frank Vogel, the injury ridden Anthony Davis and sometimes even the Lakers’ GM Rob Pelinka who has been in highlights since the past few days as LeBron James was after he Lakers’ management to get him fired from his position as the GM which also sparked a controversy with people asking who if James is a player or the owner.
No matter what happens in the league, which is certain at this point that the Lakers’ ship will entirely sink and they might not even be able to qualify for the playoffs, the controversy surrounding the Los Angeles Lakers wont end soon as a new discussion has taken over the Lakers fandom which suggests that LeBron James should be traded to another team if the Lakers want to win the NBA Championship, which seems to suggest that the burden of the team struggling entirely falls on the shoulder of one man, LeBron.
The Lakers and LeBron James seems to be struggling with figuring out the combinations to make them work for the team and haven’t yet been able to give out positive results of any sort as the team has been losing match after match, and not to repeat, terribly, as the team lost with a 3-point margin to the LA Clippers and now further worsened their record with a 28-point loss to the New Orleans Pelicans.
Let us take a closer look at this scenario in which an NBA Analyst came under fire for indirectly calling LeBron incapable and suggesting an unorthodox trade between the Lakers and the Heat which generated anger amongst the Lakers fanbase.
LeBron James to Miami Heat, NBA Analyst under fire for unorthodox trade suggestion
LeBron James has already played for several teams throughout his career in which he has won 4 NBA championships and has led the way for the teams to make better position for themselves in the league. LeBron who now plays for the Lakers hasn’t been able to do so after the Quarantine NBA season, and have struggled this entire season, bringing nothing but disappointment to its fans and the entire NBA World which now questions the credibility of the team, its players, its coaches and in fact even its management.
LeBron who didn’t seem very satisfied with all the Lakers state allegedly highlighted his disinterest to play with the Lakers or its management therefore sparking rumors of him wanting to get traded or the Lakers wanting to trade him. One such rumor was also fueled by ESPN’s Brian Windhorst who suggested that LeBron James along with Anthony Davis should be traded in order for the Lakers to have a fresh start, which drew a lot of criticism as well.
Now another trade idea has come up which brought about equal amount of criticism as “The Herd” host Colin Cowherd suggested that LeBron should be traded to the Miami Heat as that is the team he could lead on to make them get a championship and also highlighted that LeBron was incapable of leading this Lakers roster while also following up with a statement that leading the current Lakers’ roster wasn’t an easy task and even a player like Giannis Antetokounmpo couldn’t do it at this point looking at the state of the team.

Cowherd said “If you put him in Miami with Jimmy Butler and Bam, I think they win the title.” Cowherd keeping in mind LeBron’s style of play suggested that LeBron would be a perfect fit for the Heat’s roster and could led them to winning the Championship.
As we stated earlier, this wasn’t taken very well by the Lakers fandom, therefore, let us now take a look at the reactions people had on twitter to Cowherd’s suggestion.
