“Let him be cause he ain’t a bad guy” Lakers’ LeBron James clears air on his dispute with The Athletic’s Bill Oram
LeBron James ends his dispute with Bill Oram
The difference between LeBron James and the LA Lakers front office was seen rising after the all-star week ended. The main reason for their scrutiny was Lebron’s statement during the all-star week where he said during a press interview that he wouldn’t rule out a return to Cleveland and, ultimately, wanted to finish his career with whatever team drafts his son Bronny.
After this statement, a lot of reports were published on LeBron James being unhappy with Lakers GM Rob Pelinka for not trading Russell Westbrook before the 2022 NBA trade deadline. One of those reports came from Lakers reporter Bill Oram, which he wrote in the article of The Athletic.

LeBron James ends his tussle with the Lakers reporter Bill Oram after few war of words
The reports were getting viral among the NBA universe and there was a barrage of questions on LeBron leaving the Lakers after the current season. But later, LBJ addressed the issue and even claimed that Oram hates Lakers so he writes negative words for them.
It’s weird that you guys — well not you guys, whoever started this whole thing… Bill doesn’t like the Lakers, anyway. It’s always going to be a negative. Anytime Bill says anything about the Lakers it’s going to be negative. So, I hope no one in the Lakers faithful listens to Bill Oram. I hope not. He hasn’t said one great thing about the Lakers in so long,” said LeBron
Currently, the issues seem to be eased as the Laker’s star forward have ended his dispute with Bill Oram which he disclosed on Twitter. King explained the situation on Twitter after he had a conversation with Oram and cleared their misunderstandings while he also plead to the Lakers fans to not accuse him of anything as he is not a bad guy.
“@billoram and I had a candid conversation after the game tonight and I know he has a job to do. I know what he wrote wasn’t truthful cause it never came from me. But I get it, SOURCES run this game. Nevertheless #LakerNation let him be cause he ain’t a bad guy.“
