She graduated from the University of South California and was appointed GM of the Los Angeles Strings by Jerry Bus when she was only 19. Eventually, Jeanie started working as a sports executive for the Lakers and continued to assist her father in his business ventures.
She married Steve Timmons in 1990, but the couple split in 1993. Jeanie would later court legendary coach Phil Jackson for over a decade until 2016. She is currently engaged to American actor Jay Mohr.
