Luka Doncic

Luka Doncic has shown some exceptional gameplay in the last two match-ups of the Mavs against the LA Clippers. On Saturday night, Luka showed his magic to make the Clippers struggle in the game, he scored 45 points, 15 rebounds, and 8 assists but it was insufficient to bring the win for the team.

In this rematch, Luka was unstoppable just like his previous game where he scored his career-high of 51 points on 10th Feb against the same LA-based franchise. In both the game the Clippers’ defense was seen as useless whenever the Mavs MVP attacked them.

It was a frustrating match for the Clippers as they were unable to stop the Doncic rampage, but they somehow still managed to defeat them in the second game by 99-97.

“I just want to win. I don’t care if he (Luka) had 90,” LA coach Tyronn Lue said. “Hats off to him for playing great, but I thought our team did a hell of a job. We know he can dominate the game with his passing and his scoring. We wanted to try to limit him to being a scorer, and he did it again, unfortunately, but we were able to weather the storm.”
