Ben Simmons falling out with Philadelphia 76ers has been nothing less than a tragic story for both the parties involved. Now, with the Australian play-maker returning to the City of Brotherly Love with his new team, Brooklyn Nets, fans at Wells Fargo Center were in no mood to spare him. Surely a scenario which would take place, when you leave a place, way before its time.

Although Ben Simmons is not suiting up for the 76ers vs Nets showdown, yet it seemed like Philadelphia fans are not going to go easy upon their villain. To those who missed the pre-game workout, before the tip-off, a fan could be seen wearing a very interesting Simmons jersey.

Under Simmons number on the front, is a picture of Simmons with the words “Mister Softee.” But the back is truly hilarious. Moreover, Ben Simmons, who was booed ceremoniously when he took the court, actually got a new level of distaste. While in the layup line, Simmons throw down an easy little jam. He finally heard some cheers, sarcastically of course.

That being said, the divorce ended ugly between the Sixers and Simmons after he was traded to the Nets. Simmons had held out all season, citing various reasons. Most recently, he openly talked about the mental issues he had been dealing with. But if he was expecting Philadelphia fans to cut him some slack, he had another thing coming.
