Over the past few years, there have been some opinions which have broken the charts in terms of how bizarre they have been. A similar path was followed by NBA Legend, John Stockton who made a less-stunning, more-staggering claim on the Covid-19 vaccine which has surely got all the players and fans in a pickle.

In an exclusive interview with the Spokane’s Spokesman-Review, an NBA legend and Hall of Famer, John Stockton made a proof-less claim about the covid-19 vaccine. Stockton went onto claim that more than 100 pro-athletes have died because of the particular vaccine. Review interviewer Theo Lawson beat those claims made by some shocking and opposing facts.

What was opinionated by John Stockton?

During the interview, Stockton asserted that more than 100 professional athletes have died of vaccination. He also said tens of thousands of people perhaps millions have died from vaccines. 

“I think it’s highly recorded now, there’s 150 I believe now, it’s over 100 professional athletes dead – professional athletes – the prime of their life, dropping dead that are vaccinated, right on the pitch, right on the field, right on the court,” John Stockton said in the interview.

“Such claims are dubious and not backed by science, nor are they deemed credible by medical professionals, according to FactCheck.org, a project of The Annenberg Public Policy Center, and research reported by PolitiFact, which is run by the Poynter Institute,” Lawson wrote.

That being said, with the world suffering from countless number of Covid waves. It is indeed shocking to hear a Hall of Famer like John Stockton come up with such baseless claim, especially knowing the heat around the Covid-19 vaccine is so strong and sensitive. Lastly, this is not the first time Stockton has come up with something so dubious.  

Last year, the Utah Jazz great appeared in an anti-vax documentary titled, Covid and the Vaccine: Truth Lies, and Misconceptions Revealed. In the film, Stockton claimed to have done a “significant amount of research” on Covid and the vaccines.
