On Sunda, Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum was in his element against the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 7 of their Eastern Conference second-round series. The young forward carried on from where he left off in the fourth quarter of Game 6 in Philadelphia, where he scored 16 points, and dropped 51 on the 76ers to lead his team to a victory.

The Celtics, beaten in the NBA Finals in six games by the Golden State Warriors last season, will head to the Eastern Conference Finals, where they’ll meet the eighth-seeded Miami Heat. The winner of that series will advance to the NBA Finals to take on the Denver Nuggets or the Los Angeles Lakers.

Jayson Tatum‘s 51-point explosion practically ended the game as a contest in the third quarter. The Celtics star scored 25 of his team’s 55 points in the first two quarters, before adding 17 in the third, to push Boston’s lead to 26 before the fourth quarter. By the end of the third quarter, Tatum had become only the third player in Celtics history to score 40 points in a Game 7 in the NBA playoffs after Sam Jones (47 points against Cincinnati Royals in 1963) and Paul Pierce (41 points against Cleveland Cavaliers in 2008).
