NBA Christmas Day Schedule: How to watch Hawks vs Knicks, Bucks vs Celtics, and other games Live Stream, TV Channel Details

National Basketball Association (NBA) has held games on the Christmas day, and they have held onto this tradition since the league’s 2ndseason in 1947. So, it is quite a big deal and a big honor for the teams to perform on Christmas.

The selection of the teams isn’t like NFL’s Thanking where only fixed opponents rather the NBA have the best teams in the league to compete against each other, and this year the treat goes to the New York Knicks, Atlanta Hawks, the defending champs Milwaukee Bucks, Golden State Warriors, LA Lakers, Boston Celtics, Phoenix Suns, Utah Jazz, Dallas Mavericks, and the Brooklyn Nets.

The NBA Christmas Day Games Schedule is :

New York Knicks vs Atlanta Hawks

The first NBA Christmas day match is between one of the most interesting opponents: the Hawks (15-16) and Knicks(14-18). Last season, the Hawks gave the Knicks a very deep wound. The Hawks defeated them in a series of 5 by 4-12, ending Knicks path to the conference finals.

The match details are:

Date: 25th December, Saturday.

Time: 12:00 AM EST.

Venue: Madison Square Garden, New York.

TV: ESPN, Sky Sports

Milwaukee Bucks vs Boston Celtics

The Defending Champions will host the struggling Boston Celtics (16-16) on Christmas. It is going to e interesting to watch the Bucks who are already favored in their home games blasting off the Celtics.

But things can also turn south for the Bucks as their reigning MVPP is out since December 14th due to NBA’s Health and Safety Protocol.

 The match details are:

Date: 25th December, Saturday.

Time: 2:30 PM (EST).

Venue: Fiserv Forum, Milwaukee.

TV: ESPN

Golden State Warriors vs Phoenix Suns

These two teams are probably the most fan-loved teams this season. They have been impeccable in their performance but the Western conference can only have one Top team. The Golden State Warriors (26-6) and the Phoenix Suns (26-5) are gonna have to give it all if they wish to rule the West.

The match details are:

Date: 25th December, Saturday.

Time: 5:00 PM (EST).

Venue: Footprint Centre, Phoenix, AZ.

TV: ESPN, NBC Sports Bay Area, and Bally Sports Arizona

LA Lakers vs Brooklyn Nets

This is probably going to be one of the most high-profile NBA Christmas Day matches as both teams are the front runners for this year’s NBA title. But both have failed miserably at retaining that position. Though the Brooklyn Nets are ruling the Eastern Conference still their expected level of performance is yet to be seen.

The LA Lakers(16-17)  have two former MVPs on their roster and the Nets have too but only James Harden will be seen on the court as Kevin Durant is still under NBA’s Health and Safety Protocol. The Lakers will be without Anthony Davis due to an injury, and most of their regular roster members will also be missing the match due to NBA’s Health and Safety protocol.

The match details are :

Date: 25th December, Saturday.

Time: 8:00 PM (EST).

Venue: Crypto.com Arena, Los Angeles

TV: ESPN/ABC

Utah Jazz vs Dallas Mavericks

The last NBA Christmas Day match is to be plsayed between the Jazz and the Mavericks.

The Dallas Mavericks(15-16)  just like some other NBA teams are severely affected by the virus outbreak. They, currently, have seven players under the Health and Safety protocol. This made them add some 6 players to their roster who barely had a chance t form a coordination bond with the regular roster. The mavericks will either rock this match or will showcase one of their most disoriented performances.

The Utah Jazz (22-9) with their dynamic due Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert have been astounding in their matches. They are on a two-game win spree and would want to add one more to it.

The match details for Jazz vs Mavericks are:

Date: 25th December, Saturday.

Time: 10:30 PM (EST).

Venue: Vivint Arena, Salt Lake City, Utah.

TV: ESPN, AT&T SportsNetwork.
