Kevin Durant is one of the greatest players to ever touch a basketball and suit up in a National Basketball Association’s jersey. He is also known as one of the greatest scorers of the league because of his shot making ability which helps him in offense as he can pull up from anywhere on the court and fetch a good bucket for the team he is playing.
Kevin Durant has established himself with 2× NBA champion, 2× NBA Finals MVP , 1× NBA Most Valuable Player, 11× NBA All-Star, 2× NBA All-Star Game MVP, 6× All-NBA First Team, 3× All-NBA Second Team, Rookie of the Year, NBA All-Rookie First Team, 4× NBA scoring champion and also is a member of the 50–40–90 elite club. Durant’s career achievements are not only limited to the list above he holds multiple other records which have created history and since his playing career still continues while he is 33 years old and on a multiple season contract we may see more of his achievements getting pinned and always remembered.

Kevin Durant is currently playing for Brooklyn Nets of National Basketball Association and is carrying the team through any challenges he comes across and making a strong case for his second MVP award this season while also leading the eastern conference ranking from the start of the season. KD has also established the Brooklyn Nets as a championship contender team with his colleagues James Harden and Kyrie Irving. Kevin Durant: USA Basketball Male Athlete of the year

Kevin Durant was recently named as USA Basketball Male Athlete of the year 2021 and is one of the fewest players to win this award three or more times. This was Kevin Durant’s third year winning this award after carrying the Team USA at Tokyo Olympics and winning the gold medal for the nation when everyone doubted him and his leadership.
Kevin Durant was also FIBA World Championship’s MVP in the year 2010 and currently leada team USA in points scored all time with 435 points. His stats for his career with team USA are 20.7 PPG, 5.3 RPG and 3.7 APG. KD played a important role for the team USA in Tokyo Olympics as for the first time the squad didn’t look that dominant and was doubted for gold.

Kevin Durant added to his Olympic career by scoring 29 points to finish off a brilliant tournament and signed the deal for gold. This was his third gold to go with two NBA titles. His leadership and commitment where he stepped up in close contested match-ups and ended winning those made the journey to gold medal possible and this is the biggest reason for him to be named as USA Basketball Male Athlete of the Year. Durant really has nothing left to prove since he is looking better than ever even after coming off a career ending injury.
