They have won 3 NBA titles with the Lakers and won in it consecutively, they had their own share of differences which made the two take separate ways, which saw Shaquille O’Neal go to the Miami Heats. Since then, there has never been a duo quite up to the standards that the legendary duo had developed. It is quite early to judge the new pairing in form of James Harden and Joel Embiid and giving them comparing them to legendary duos of the past. The Los Angeles Lakers blossomed during the times of Kobe and Shaquille, they won 3 titles with the Purple and Gold. With the Sixers acquiring the services of James Harden there has been a lot of talk going around and the hype has been building. It is yet to be seen how the pair will develop their partnership, and will they be able to live up to the hype?
