$2.3 Billion franchise fails to make NBA Christmas games despite having “Michael Jordan’s son” on the roster

The Miami Heat have grown into one of the most dominant teams in the league at the moment. Their last few season have been nothing short of successful despite having a couple of hiccups in the playoffs. Regardless, the team has shown consistency with their game plans.

Jimmy Butler for one has been ever-achieving since joining the roster in 2019. Last season however, he struggled with a knee injury. He was benched during a couple or playoff games against the Hawks leaving the team to Bam Adebayo and Victor Oladipo who worked it out for the most part. The injury affected Butler during during Eastern Conference Finals ultimately allowing the Boston Celtics to win.

Miami Heat gets snubbed from the Christmas Day Games lineup

There is no denying the level of competition the Miami Heat has brought into the league, especially among their division. Last season, the finished at the top of the table with 53 wins and 29 losses. Many would expect them to be part of the Christmas Day Games, but surprisingly they are not.


However, several other competitors who are arguably not on the level of the Heat made the cut. Teams like the New York Knicks and the Los Angeles Lakers are among the gameday roster. Much like the Heat, the Atlanta Hawks have also been snubbed off a slot on December 25th.
