Draymond Green over the past decade has got himself a lot of name and fame by balling out and filling up for the Golden State Warriors. Even in 2018, he was a household name as his on-court stories had him very famous everywhere. So comedian Dave Chapelle, name-dropped him while doing a bit about Rachel Dolezal. The set was very hilarious as Dave took a shot at Rachel Dolezal, an activist who claims and presents herself as a black woman even though she is born to white parents and has no such roots.
Dave Chapelle during his “Netflix is a joke special” in 2018 linked up Draymond Green’s name and activist Rachel Dolezal and the outcome of it was very comical as the whole room cracked up. The comedian mocking Rachel quoted: “What is Rachel willing to do so that we blacks can believe that she believes she’s actually one of us? Bit*h are you willing to put a lien on your house… She didn’t even change her name, didn’t even change her name. Her name is Rachel I can’t believe in that name.”
Further Dave Chapelle added: “If you want my support, you are gonna have to change your name to blackest sh*t I have ever heard. Bi*ch you gotta change your name to Draymond Green. I don’t know a blacker name than that. That sh*t is black on paper. If you type Draymond Green into Airbnb that sh*t will log off automatically.”
That was a perfectly hilarious set on Rachel Dolezal and her claims by Dave Chapelle. Draymond Green though didn’t clap back or talked trash about it as it was planned and permitted.
