On Monday night in New York, the Golden State Warriors defeated the Brooklyn Nets 109-98 thanks to 29 points from Stephen Curry, who took charge in the fourth quarter. For the third time in four games, Curry contributed to the Warriors’ victory. Mr. Whammy was rooting for the Brooklyn Nets, where Curry was assisting his team. He is an enormous Nets fan. The 87-year-old has 25 years of season tickets to the Nets.
Mr. Whammy’s actual name is Bruce Reznick. And there was a moment when everyone saw him distracting Jonathan Kuminga while having a free throw. His specialty is making various hand signals and distracting the players when they shoot. Everyone watched Mr. Whammy yelling when Kuminga attempted a free throw in the fourth quarter. Who knows, maybe his magical ability worked again, as the latter missed the attempt.
Since Mr. Whammy usually doesn’t make fun of former Nets, his nickname originated from it. Mr. Whammy has grown to be a Nets legend, and it seems like his strategies are always working.

Although Jonathan Kuminga scored 28 points to maintain his recent rise in popularity, a missed free throw drew immense attention from the crowd. Mr. Whammy played a part in the distraction and his movements captivated everyone. Fans’ reactions to the video on social media were overwhelmingly positive.
People are shocked to see such energy at his age, and thus, the commentator was deeming him a young heart. Fans are calling him a legend and appreciating him for being present at the games for supporting the Nets.
Stephen Curry, who finished with 29 points, and Jonathan Kuminga, who put on an incredible display with 28 points, were the standouts for Golden State. The Warriors put on an incredible show as they recovered from the devastating defeat of Atlanta a few days prior.
