In light of recent events, a shocking revelation stunned the world of basketball as former reality TV star, Dwight Howard‘s ex and ex-NBA cheerleader, Royce Reed came forward with serious allegations against the former Los Angeles Lakers superstar Shaquille O’Neal.
In a candid conversation with Carlos King on his podcast, Reed revealed that during her time as a cheerleader in the league, she used to receive flirtatious messages from the Lakers superstar Shaquille O’Neal, while he was married to Reed’s co-star on the show “Basketball Wives,” Shaundie Henderson.
Yet, Reed lost trust in Shaundie when the next day of filming revealed allegations from another cast member, Evelyn Lozada. The shock came as the messages from Shaq were exposed. Reed thought this info was confidential, but it seemed Shaundie shared it with Evelyn.
On the podcast with Carlos King, Royce Reed voiced her opinions about the NBA legend’s messages and said:
After filming I tried to confide in her during filming yeah, and even with that I realized I couldn't trust her because before the show even started I had sent her a thread of where her ex-husband you know had been texting me and nothing ever happened he cursed me out cuz I wouldn't talk to him but I wanted everything to be out and open I wanted her to see everything so if anything ever happened or said she knew it wasn't true.
This clip of the podcast was posted over Instagram and to everyone’s surprise, the clip didn’t go unnoticed by the Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal. Big Shaq ended up dropping a comment under the post and said, “Uhh somebody needs money.” This stunned fans across the basketball community.
