Hollywood superstar Adam Sandler congratulated his ‘Hustle’ co-star and forward Juancho Hernangomez for leading Spain to a gold medal win in the recently concluded EuroBasket 2022 tournament. Adam fondly calls Juancho as ‘Bo Cruz,’ which is the name of Juancho’s character in Adam’s Netflix movie, ‘Hustle.’ He also mentioned it while taking it to Twitter to congratulate the team. Spain defeated arch-rivals France with an 88-76 score-line and are now the EuroBasket 2022 champions.

Adam Sandler tweeted, “Bo Cruz! Getting it done. Love you Juancho. And Willie! Congrats to the whole Spanish team.” Juancho Hernangomez led Spain to a historic win against France. He scored 27 points on a highly-efficient 9-of-11 from the field and 7-of-9 from a distance. France was helpless as they couldn’t stop this tornado that erupted from the Spanish team. Juancho Hernangomez signed a one-year deal with the Toronto Raptors for the upcoming 2022-2023 NBA season. This will be his fifth NBA team in his six-year career. Everyone will hope that Juancho finds a more consistent role with the Raptors.

Juancho Hernangomez joins Toronto Raptors

Spanish forward Juancho Hernangomez will don the Toronto Raptors jersey for the upcoming NBA 2022-2023 season. Juancho gained fame for his starring role in the Netflix basketball film ‘Hustle,’ which became an instant hit. He signed a one-year deal with the NBA team for around $23 million. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported this news via Twitter. He was traded from Minnesota to Memphis last August, then to Boston in September, San Antonio in January, and Utah in February. Juancho will hope he finds home with the Raptors for a longer duration after being traded multiple times in a row. The Toronto Raptors play their first match against the Cleveland Cavaliers on the 20th Oct in the upcoming NBA season.
