Won't EVER see me put a big toe in them Mfers.

Post the quick reply by the brand, they deleted the comment and mentioned that the reply wasn’t supposed to be from their verified account. They added,

Adidas’s reply to Durant’s comments was nothing short of a roast and caught fans and critics off guard leaving them shocked. Kevin Durant has been putting up exceptional performances by averaging 31.3 points per game including 6.9 rebounds and 5.5 assists.

Kevin Durant declined Adidas’s sneaker deal in the past

The Phoenix Suns star forward Kevin Durant was the second overall pick in the 2007 NBA draft. Following his draft, Durant received two proposals in the works for a footwear deal: one from Adidas and the other from Nike. Both shoe deals were quite profitable, but Adidas’ larger contract made it a much better option. However, Durant ultimately turned down Adidas’ offer to buy Nike

The player is still a brand ambassador for Nike. Durant has become one of the NBA’s finest players to sign a contract with the sneaker brand alongside LeBron James and Michael Jordan. We can’t be completely conclusive over the fact that Adidas’s sassy reply to Durant’s comment was due to this but some may perceive it like that.

However, Durant choosing Nike over Adidas’s lucrative sneaker contract comes down to personal preferences.
