Al Horford, one of the most important defensive figures for Boston Celtics seemed to have sent Game 3 to OT when he eventually got the layup of Marcus Smart’s free throw. But when checked, it was waived off as Horford’s attempt was millisecond late. Upon which he decided to deliver his brutally honest take after Game 3.

Al Horford’s game-tying layup waved off vs Bucks in Game 3
The shot that was waived off was actually Al Horford’s second attempt. He missed a one-handed tip-in that would have definitely counted. Before that, both Marcus Smart and Robert Williams III missed their attempts, which just goes to show that the resilient and unpredictable Boston Celtics had their chances.
Pretty much explains why the veteran defender was not excited at all when he made that shot. He already determined that it was going to be waived off and that his team had just gone down 1-2 against the defending champs.
Talking about the individual performances of Bucks vs Celtics Game 3 encounter, Giannis Antetokounmpo was simply sensational as he managed to register game-high 42 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists. While Jrue Holiday had 25 points registered against his name. On the other hand, for Boston Celtics, they were led by Jaylen Brown and Al Horford with 27 and 22 points registered against their name.
Marquee scorer Jayson Tatum had a relatively below-average game as he managed to only score 10 points against his name. Given that series now has gone in the favor of Milwaukee Bucks, having a home game in hand, the Bucks would be willing to throw the kitchen sink to send their opposition over the edge of the clip.
Who among these two Eastern Conference giants is going to superior in game 4? Remains to be seen.
