“All he needs is teeny 2 months of Miami basketball” Andre Iguodala says former #1 pick needs the proper culture to prosper
Andre Iguodala praises Anthony Edwards in his podcast
Golden State Warriors player Andre Iguodala has been with the game for ages and won four championships with the Warriors. On an episode on “Point Forward” recently, he had high praises for young Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards. He talked about the youngster’s potential, and a good stint with the NBA team Miami Heat will transform him as a player as well as build his career. Andre was talking to co-host Evan Turner on the show, who had former NBA player Dwayne Wade also joining him.
Andre Iguodala quoted, “This kid, he’s different. He’s like you (Wade) when he can change those directions,” Iguodala said. “He can split pick-and-rolls and he’s explosive coming out of it. It’s insane, and all he needs is teeny 2 months of Miami basketball and it’s over with. It’s over. Oh my God. That kid’s got it, man. He can shoot it, too.”
Andre is a team man and will play his 19th season if he decides to continue and not retire. But his decision is still awaited by his current team Golden State Warriors. His team will want him to play as he has a lot of experience and gameplay left, which can help the Golden State Warriors easily defend their title. He can also be an ace player for the Warriors at this age.
