On The VC Show, Andrew Wiggins had nothing but kind words for his teammates as he talked about his role in the Golden State Warriors, his development and improvement ever since joining the Warriors. He spoke on the value that the veterans of the team like Stephen Curry and Draymond Green have provided him.

He accredited all his teammates but especially Curry and Draymond as he stated, “All those guys were very encouraging and motivating. Steph, Draymond, all of them, They all did a lot for me in a lot of different ways. One thing they all do is they all hold you accountable. When you do something wrong, they’re gonna get at you. But the thing that I love about them is that when you do it right, they’re gonna be the first people to come up to you and congratulate you. I feel like that goes a long way. They’ve taught me a lot on and off the court, so I cherish those guys.”
This past season saw Andrew Wiggins at his best as he was selected for the first time in his career as an All-Star. His shooting percentage is massively improving than how it was before he became a Warrior. And coming playoff time, he was a crucial asset for Golden State as his performance contributed massively, especially in the NBA finals against the Boston Celtics.
Warriors and the development of Wiggins and other younger players

It is evident how well Andrew Wiggins works with the Bay-area team after being traded to the team in 2020 in exchange for D’Angelo Russell. Head Coach Steve Kerr and the veteran Big-3 of Curry, Green and Dray have built a system that has been successful in building and moulding young players to reach their potential like Jordan Poole, Kevin Looney, and even rookie Jonathan Kuminga who have all played an instrumental role in the Warrior’s championship this past season. It ultimately cemented their legacy as one of the greatest, if not the greatest team of all time.
Andrew Wiggins, at the beginning of his career, was considered to be the next Kobe Bryant, even the mamba himself stated that seeing Andrew Wiggins play was like gazing into a mirror. While it is not any fault of Wiggins that he could not live up to the unreal expectations set for him, the label “bust” will not be relevant when his name is mentioned. We can only wait and see to what extent Wiggins can take his game.
