Andrew Wiggins has been a special player throughout the season. Now he’s an NBA champion and has got himself his first ring. As the Golden State Warriors getting rid of Boston Celtics in six games got the job done and registered their fourth title under their name in the last eight seasons (the franchise in total has 7 titles). Not many expected them to rise this high this year but it is what it is and the counting will continue as they are back in the business. Andrew Wiggins has played an important role in this successful championship run of the Dubs after all the years of criticism. Where he was trolled and called out as a bust for not living up to the expectations of someone drafted first overall.
He was constantly doubted and hated but still, Stephen Curry and Ayesha Curry were always standing strong in his support as they knew he has the potential to do it all and shine. Now it’s all done and the three of them were seen enjoying together as the Dubs had a wild championship celebration. This year Andrew Wiggins not only got a ring for himself but also got some records on his name, a lot of respect and most importantly he also started the NBA All-Star Game as a starter. So it’s fair to say he was the guy this year as he had a pretty good season.
In Game 6 of the NBA Finals at TD Garden against the Boston Celtics. He also showcased his defensive greats on the court. Something he has done the whole season to help the team stay on the winning side. He backed up Stephen Curry (34 points, 7 assists and 7 rebounds) and dropped 18 points, 5 assists and 6 rebounds while also limiting Jayson Tatum to only 13 points, 7 assists and 3 rebounds.
After winning the 2022 NBA championship. The Dubs went crazy in TD Garden as they had a wild celebration with Champagne, music, of course trash-talk and you name it. They did it all and it was also very well-deserved as the road for them was tough but they remained locked in and came out undefeated. Andrew Wiggins though was spotted enjoying his time with Ayesha Curry and Stephen Curry as a video clip of them singing and enjoying as the champions is viral all over the internet.

Andrew Wiggins, Stephen Curry and Ayesha Curry sang “O Canada” together to reflect on their championship and the journey they have had so far. They were nothing but all smiles in the video and even showed out some of their dancing gestures. It was a great moment between them which also showcased the respect they have for each other. As Andrew is from Canada and even Ayesha has some roots from there too. So singing “O Canada” out and loud was a proud moment for them.
The future of the franchise is in great hands as the Dynasty days are back and the talent and greatness will just keep passing on to the next stars. Wiggins has erupted at the right time and now the Dubs can rely on him for their future. As he is capable of leading the young guns to success in near future and always have the Warriors in the conversation.
