The reason behind the Laker’s huge win was their star Anthony Davis. Davis had a unique stat line which made NBA history. He became the first player to have at least 25 points with 25 rebounds, five assists, five steals, and three blocks in a single game. Davis had 27 points, 25 rebounds, 5 assists, 7 steals, and 3 blocks in 39 minutes.

The 25 rebounds are also a season-high for Davis along with the seven steals which are a career-high. This game will be one of the most important ones in the star’s career, considering the NBA history and a win against one of the best teams in the league while being at the 9th position in the conference rankings. This win has changed the standings in the Western Conference.
