“Throw his out of the squad, Fu***ng Tw*t” Anthony Davis gets slammed by NBA fans for admitting not touching a basketball since April 5th
Injured Anthony Davis
Anthony Davis‘ life hasn’t been the same since he won his first NBA championship in the 2020 Orlando Bubble, because to a string of injuries. With issues to his calf, groin, MCL, and ankle, to mention a few, AD has spent more time on the bench than on the court. The Brow appeared in 40 of the Los Angeles Lakers‘ 82 games this season, resulting in a 17-23 record while Davis was on the court. Due to the absence of the former Pelicans great, LeBron James, 37, was forced to shoulder the majority of the load while Russell Westbrook struggled to find a spot on the team.
The Lakers would almost certainly have made the playoffs if Davis had been healthy all year. While his durability remains an issue, AD is without a doubt one of the most gifted big players the NBA has ever seen, an elite scorer who can play both ends of the court. The NBA champion (2020) averaged 23.2 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 40 games this season. In his 10 career seasons, Davis has registered 23.8 points and 10.2 rebounds over 604 games (599 starts).
Heading into the 2022-23 NBA Season..
“I think he’s the key. We need consistency out of Anthony Davis. We need him to be healthy, we need him to be in a good mental space and we need him to be consistent as possible and back to playing that championship-type basketball”, new Lakers head coach Darvin Ham spoke in his introductory press conference. Only two seasons and less than two years ago, if someone thought of LeBron James’ departure, which indicated Anthony Davis would be the focal point of the next era. Davis is at the top of his game right now, and he’s proven time and time again that he can make an impact on both sides of the court and if he can stay healthy for the rest of the season, the Lakers might be back in contention for the title.

Twitter explodes on Anthony Davis’ new clip.
Anthony Davis expressed his displeasure with the Los Angeles Lakers’ fans. as AD made an appearance on the “Nuke Squad’s” YouTube vlog. Davis revealed he hadn’t shot a basketball since April 5 when he was handed the ball.
His comment could just be a reference to the last time he appeared in an NBA game. Davis could be taking a break or rehabbing his other injuries during the NBA offseason, which isn’t completely committed to practice. However, his statement may irritate some Lakers fans, who may believe Davis isn’t working at all in his spare time.
