LeBron James talks about being in the NBA Bubble
In 2020, the NBA created the NBA Bubble to protect the players from the COVID-19 variant and finish the regular season which has 8 games left. The organization continued the playoffs in the Bubble and finished the 2019-20 season. In this Bubble, all the players from qualified teams were kept until the end of the season.
LeBron James was not happy with living in the Bubble. He said,
This is literally out of your whole comfort zone. No family, I didn't see my family for eight-and-a-half weeks. My room, literally seeing the walls, it's like 'The Shining,' just like blood coming down my walls.
Fans found James’ comments funny as other players were not complaining about being in The Bubble. At the end the 2019-20 was a success as the Lakers won the championship.
