A crucial LA Lakers stalwart seems to be an NFL supporter as well. Multiple teammates of LeBron James were seen attending an NFL game recently.

Anthony Davis was spotted at the NFL Playoffs Divisional round matchup between the Green Bay Packers and the San Francisco 49ers. He was wearing the number 33 jersey of Packers superstar running back Aaron Jones. But this latest escapade of Davis drew the ire of basketball fans.

Davis is a Chicago native. However, it seems he is a Packers fan. Standing along the sidelines at Levi’s Stadium along with Lakers teammates D’Angelo Russell and Jarred Vanderbilt, they were seen cheering the Packers. Clips showed Packers players Jones and Jaire Alexander coming over to meet the Los Angeles Lakers superstar. What drew the ire of fans, however, was that Davis is carrying an Achilles injury.

Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers were subject to a humiliating loss against the Brooklyn Nets yesterday. Before the game, Davis was listed as questionable. Therefore, it was sure to irk basketball, particularly Lakers fans, that Davis was out there enjoying himself.

Lakers superstars Davis and LeBron James have been consistently playing at a high level. But the oft-injured Davis has been regularly criticized. If he had to miss games, it would mean an even worse situation for the 21-22 Lakers.

The Lakers need both Davis and James to play at their best if they are to make it to the playoffs. The heavily contested Western Conference is not an easy task for the currently struggling team.

Fans were not impressed with Anthony Davis

Basketball fans are usually a passionate bunch. They want to see the best of their teams every season. The Los Angeles Lakers is one of the most storied franchises in all of sports. So when their superstar goes out enjoying himself after a big humiliating loss and is risking an Achilles injury, he is sure to draw flak from fans.

When clips from the Packers’ Twitter accounts floated pre-game showing Davis and his teammates on the sidelines catching a ball, throwing it, and faking running back routes, fans could not keep quiet. They were quick to voice their opinions on social media. Check them out below;
