For some time now, it has become a habit for Anthony Edwards to show off elite levels of athleticism. Fans have been left in awe with his use of his physical tools to make a play. Tonight was no different, except he took it to another level. The Minnesota Timberwolves superstar, who is only 6′ 4″, took off and threw down a monstrous dunk over the much taller John Collins.

In the 3rd quarter, Anthony Edwards stole the ball and flipped it up to Nickeil Alexander-Walker. Walker saw Edwards streaking towards the basket and passed it back. In a split-second, after Edwards noticed Collins in front of him, he used that running momentum to launch for a dunk. Edwards not only threw down the dunk to a rapturous roar from the entire arena, but also caused humiliation for Collins.

The two teams were tied when Edwards decided to explode to the rim. Although everyone around the league is aware of his explosive athleticism, no one envisioned Edwards to try this from that far out. This dunk was Edwards’ way of imposing his dominance on the game. The result of this play was that the Jazz tried but could not hold off the Timberwolves from winning the game.

Playing without both his superstar teammates, Edwards drove the Minnesota Timberwolves to a win over the Utah Jazz. His all-round effort of 32 points, 7 rebounds, and 8 assists helped the Western Conference powerhouse to a 114-104 win.
