In their bid to move up the playoff ladder, the Los Angeles Lakers rolled into Milwaukee to take on the resurgent Bucks. This matchup was made tougher as team leader LeBron James’ ankle issue prevented him from suiting up. However, the Lakers were led by Austin Reaves in a stunning comeback to beat the Bucks in over time. Fans were left in shock with Reaves’ triple-double performance.

Throughout the game, the Los Angeles Lakers trailed the Milwaukee Bucks. Midway into the fourth quarter, the Bucks almost went into a double-digit lead. Since then, Austin Reaves and his teammates flipped the switch and mounted a rally to tie the game at the end of regulation. They then went toe to toe with the superstar-laden Bucks to tie the game at the end of the first overtime period. Then, Reaves brought out some big plays to ensure the Lakers started their 6-game road trip with a much-required win.

This performance from Reaves was the second triple-double of his career. Such was the drive from the Lakers starters, who outrebounded the much bigger and physical Bucks squad. They even shot near perfect from the free throw line. Except for Spencer Dinwiddie, all Lakers starters finished with at least double-doubles.

Dinwiddie made up for his off-shooting night with major playmaking and hustle defense contributions. But in the end, it was Reaves who stole the show, ensuring the Lakers continued their road trip with a statement win.
