Stephen Curry is enjoying a triumphant off-season. Last weekend, he won his first American Century Championship, a celebrity golf tournament, becoming only the second active athlete to achieve this feat. On Monday, the 4-time NBA Champion attended a sold-out Drake show in Brooklyn, accompanied by his wife, Ayesha, and mom, Sonya.

A viral video on Twitter showed Drake walking up to Stephen Curry and introducing him to the Barclays Center crowd. Drake introduced Steph to the Brooklyn audience as his look-alike and asked them to show some love to “his brother and his family.”

“I got my brother in the building tonight. They say we look alike,” Drake said. “Make some noise for my brother Steph Curry in the building one time. And of course, the lovely Ayesha Curry. And mama bear, you know.“

During Drake’s introduction, Steph’s wife, Ayesha, seemed uncomfortable, leading some to call her “jealous” because Drake forgot to introduce the rest of the family. Ayesha was merely giving her husband a normal stare. However, certain fans took this situation to an extreme level, going so far as to accuse her of infidelity.

Ayesha, in response to these unwarranted criticisms, shared a post on Instagram featuring her and Curry, where she captioned it, “He (Steph Curry) thinks y’all are weird TBH,” letting all the fans know her husband’s perspective on the entire situation.

In his illustrious basketball career, Stephen Curry has achieved a lot, including winning 4 Championships, 2 MVP awards, and a Finals MVP. However, one major accolade is still missing from his resume—the Olympic gold. With the Olympics scheduled for next year, it might be Steph’s best chance to win one.

During a recent appearance on ESPN’s NBA Today, Steph discussed whether he would play for Team USA in the 2024 Olympics or not. While he didn’t give a definitive answer, he hinted at the possibility of joining the Steve Kerr-coached team.

“I have no idea what next summer looks like, it’s obviously an extra bonus that Coach Kerr is leading the charge,” Curry told ESPN. “I’d love to play for him any day of the week, so let’s see how things are going in Summer 24,” Curry added. “It’s the one piece of the resume that coach always likes to joke that I don’t have. He’s already kind of recruiting for next season, or next summer.”

The prospect of Steph Curry joining Team USA is undeniably thrilling. Seeing him don the USA jersey once more would be an exciting spectacle. With an illustrious career already under his belt, joining Team USA and winning the Olympic gold would be the final piece to solidify his historic resume.
