Ayesha Curry turned Celtics fans’ trash talk against husband Steph into charitable cause

Ayesha Curry and Stephen Curry

Several Boston Celtics fans took trash talk to a whole new level during the NBA Finals. During the game, pins and T-shirts designed in anticipation for Stephen Curry‘s wife, Ayesha Curry, were distributed. Curry’s cooking abilities were targeted by the items. “Ayesha Curry Can’t Cook” was written on the pins and T-shirts.

Ayesha Curry slammed Boston Celtics fans on Twitter and Instagram for their nasty remarks about her. On Thursday, June 16, after her husband, basketball player Stephen Curry, and his club, the Golden State Warriors, won the NBA Finals for the fourth time in eight years, the proud wife started airing her frustrations. The four-ring champion posted a photo of him holding up the shirt with his right hand and holding up the champion trophy in his left and wrote, “Bye Boston.”

Fourth Ring and a FMVP trophy added to his resume for Stephen Curry.

Stephen Curry, the two-time MVP, finished the game with 34 points on 12-for-21 shooting from the field and 6-for-11 shooting from beyond the arc. Curry, of course, was named Finals MVP after averaging 31.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists while shooting 41.8 percent from three-point range against the Celtics.

He kept delivering masterful performances on the grandest of stages even though Game 5 was a let-off game for him. On offense, he was a magician, and on defense, he was the best he’d ever been. He hit six 3-pointers in the first quarter of Game 1, setting an NBA Finals record for a single quarter, he scored 43 points and grabbed ten rebounds in Game 4 of the series and he had 34 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, and two steals in Game 6. Curry established his name as one of the best basketball players ever to play the game.

Steph and Ayesha Curry with the perfect response for the Boston fans.

Ayesha Curry slammed Boston Celtics fans on Twitter and Instagram for their harsh remarks about her. On Thursday, after her husband and his team, the Golden State Warriors, won the NBA Finals for the fourth time in eight years, the proud wife decided to air her grievances. All of this derives from a Boston pub called Game On!, which was the first to criticise the her cooking abilities. Steph initially responded by wearing a shirt saying that his wife can cook in game 5, but after winning the NBA Finals, the couple teamed up to tease the entire New England town.

She had gotten her hands on one of the pins and posted on her Instagram story, “These were being handed out, managed to get my hands on a few.” As Steph managed to get his hands on a T-shirt, the four time champion posted a photo of him holding up the shirt with his right hand and holding up the FMVP trophy in his left and wrote, “Bye Boston!”. She also decided to fire back at fans on Twitter where she wrote, “On the menu tonight: SF Hot Pie with a side of Curry GOAT.”

Ayesha Curry opted to use the trash talk after the Warriors won the title to support a humanitarian cause. Ayesha sold a familiar shirt for $28 on her store Sweet July. The profits from this shirt will go to “No Kid Hungry,” a non-profit dedicated to reducing childhood hunger in the United States. The 33-year-old has appeared on several talk shows, including “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and Steve Harvey’s “Celebrity family Feud” where she demonstrated her culinary abilities. The mother of three also has a YouTube account where she shares recipes and videos about herself in the kitchen.
