Ayesha Curry might be one of the most fun-loving wives ever to be known to the NBA fans, but there is no denying that she has made her way to the very top all by herself. The wife of the reigning NBA Finals MVP, Ayesha Curry was sued for $10 million by Flutie Entertainment in 2020. To those who are not aware, it is a celebrity branding company that once had a professional relationship with Steph’s wife. The lawsuit was focused on how Ayesha Curry mistreated the company after terminating her relationship with them.
Why did Flutie Entertainment sue Ayesha Curry?
The suit said that after things had ended, Ayesha had “denied the company its share of proceeds from the businesses, deliberately slowed down new enterprises, took away a top employee and essentially gutted and devalued Flutie Entertainment’s interests.”
Moreover, the spoken off lawsuit also mentioned that in May 2019 Flutie Entertainment did major work with Homemade where Ayesha Curry would offer home meal kits along with other kitchen and lifestyle products, and Yardie Girl. However, following the end of their relationship, the lawsuit claimed that Curry refused to move forward with the projects denying Flutie its share in them.
This only went onto signify that Ayesha Curry was made to learn his lessons, while she tried to cement her own legacy in the corporate world. As a result of which, Ayesha has been ever-so-careful thereafter with all her alliances and companies.
For her husband, Stephen Curry, he seems to be on top of world enjoying his time. Being the reigning NBA Finals MVP, the 3-Point King was currently spotted in the American Century Championship having a gala time, alongside Charles Barkley, Aaron Rodgers and other sporting athletes.
