It seemed like emotions and passion ran high as Celtics vs Heat locked horns at TD Garden for Game 3. Not only did the contest saw marquee players making their way to the locker room, but Miami Heat playing the entire second half without superstar Jimmy Butler. So, who stepped up for the away team? It was veteran guard Victor Oladipo.

Not only did Victor Oladipo trouble Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum on the defensive end. But also scored vital points for his team, which resulted in Bam Adebayo playing with utmost freedom, especially during the last minutes of the fourth quarter. Interestingly Oladipo did not step on the court in the entire first half. Yet played a huge role in ensuring Heat to take the lead 2-1.

Although Victor Oladipo only scored 5 points, but his 4 steals managed to halt Brown’s scoring prowess when the Celtics managed to cut the lead to just 1-point. To those who are not aware, Heat led by as many as 26 points. But with Butler not being present for the away team, they surely took advantages of the smaller set of defenders.

Adebayo turned on his A-Game finally in Game 3 as after averaging just 8 points in the first two games. He managed to score 31 points and 10 rebounds to secure Heat’s 109-103 victory. Moreover, an important victory on the road, which can prove crucial in the latter games of the Eastern Conference Final series.
With Jimmy Butler returning in Game 4 vs Boston Celtics, will we witness Oladipo’s game-time increase? Plus, the injury concern for Tyler Herro is being referred and looked upon by many. Remains to be a huge speculation if the latter would be a part of the next showdown. =
