The Washington Wizards invited President Barack Obama to their game versus the Chicago Bulls on February 27, 2009. Abe Pollin, the owner of the Wizards and Verizon Center, invited Obama to the game as a special guest. His first presidential attendance at an NBA game occurred on that occasion. Gilbert Arenas was a Wizards player at the time, and if anyone asked him, he was the happiest guy alive at the time even though he wasn’t playing the game.

Gilbert Arenas in his show Gil’s Arena claimed something way big. He has a signed chair from Barack Obama which the former President had sat on while watching Wizards vs Bulls. Obama is from Chicago so he was there to support Bulls. But Gil chose the right time to capture something that no one could have thought about.

On his podcast, Josiah Johnson asked him about his favorite memorabilia. Gilbert Arenas answered quickly, and said,

Barack The only NBA game he's ever been to. The chair he sat in, I had it signed in.

Johnson asked Gils to bring the chair during the next podcast, and Gils did the exact thing. He brought the chair. When he was showing the chair, one of the crew asked “Did you smell it”. Whereas Arena did the same and said he was not lying about this.

Ex-USA President Barack Obama has attended only three games in his entire life. When he was in his presidential years, he attended two games, one of which was Wizards vs Bulls, and the other was Cavaliers vs Bulls on Oct 27, 2015.

Gilbert Arenas mocked Klay Thompson for his poor performance

Arenas recently discussed whether the Golden State Warriors should declare this season to be their Last Dance on an edition of Gil’s Arena. Everyone in his podcast was talking about the Warriors’ most recent performance. Arenas decided to share his insights and inform everyone that the Warriors could have a chance to make up ground next season. Klay Thompson’s recent dip appears to fit nicely into Arenas’ calculations.

Gilbert Arena said, considering Thomspon,

If you just pop off in the playoffs and now you asking for $100 million, You saw him struggling all year. He pops off, and now he is asking for 4 years/100 Million, you don't want that, that's the last thing you want.

Arenas believes that a scoring binge from Thompson will only worsen the situation for the Dubs. Better results from Klay would therefore result in higher off-season cash expectations from him. He has already declined a two-year, $48 million contract, and if his performance improves further down the road, he will likely receive even more.
