“Getting HATE everywhere he goes” Ben Simmons gets massively booed in the Big Aple during US Open festivity

The US Open 2022 was known for Serena Williams retiring from the glorious sport after its conclusion and fans had gathered in large numbers to see their favorite female star for the last time. But certain fans seemed more interested in mocking the Brooklyn Nets star Ben Simmons. Ben was in the stands, watching the Friday’s game was shown on the U.S. Open jumbotron and was instantly booed by the crowd. Ben has got a trailer of what lies ahead after he was mocked by the fans in the stadium during the US Open 2022 tournament.

Ben Simmons was acquired by the NBA team Philadelphia 76ers in the 2016 NBA draft. He was later traded to the Brooklyn Nets is yet to make his debut for them and show his fiery moves and classy game play. Ben nearly missed a chance to debut during the Game 4 of the NBA playoffs in 2021 against Boston Celtics, but it couldn’t happen because he had picked up an injury. Hence, the Brooklyn Nets were left without the services of Ben Simmons and the team in someway had an unexpected collapse and his team lost the title to the Celtics.

The Brooklyn Nets had traded in Ben Simmons and other players like Seth Curry, Andre Drummond and two future first-round picks from the Philadelphia 76ers. Ben Simmons will now enter his third year of his five years contract which costed around $177.2 million extension that pays him a whopping $35.4 million on the 2022-2023 NBA campaign. Rumors are that it might take Ben forever to return back on court and he will face a lot of criticism regarding the same. It will indeed be a tough journey for him as for any professional player, fans are the biggest assets.

Who is Ben Simmons?

Benjamin David Simmons is an Australian professional basketball player for the Brooklyn Nets in the NBA. was selected with the first overall pick draft in the 2016 NBA draft by the Philadelphia 76ers. After sitting out a year due to an injured right foot, he was named the NBA Rookie of the Year in 2018 and was selected three times to the NBA All-star game. As the result of a holdout from the 76ers following the season, Simmons is the most-fined player in NBA history. After spending his first five seasons with the 76ers he was traded to the Nets where he is yet to play a game for them.
