Ranveer Singh is all praises for the Golden State Warriors

Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors have been sizzling hot this season, so much so that even the Bollywood sensation, Ranveer Singh is awed by their glamour, as they reap the fruits of hard-work and grab the 2022 NBA Title. “You don’t wanna see us next year”, These were Stephen Curry’s words on May 21st, 2021 after a disappointing loss to the Grizzlies in the Play-In Tournament. About 11 months down the line, the Warriors have stepped up and claimed what is theirs, their opponents have bowed down, and the haters are nowhere to be seen, as the Golden State Warriors clinch their 4th NBA Title in 8 seasons.

Stephen Curry has dismembered his critics, obliterated every hurdle on his way and has led the path for Golden State to rise from its ashes to the their rightful throne. The Golden State Warriors are NBA champions after coming away with a 103-90 victory over the Boston Celtics in Game 6 of the NBA Finals at TD Garden on Thursday night. In the end, Curry, once again, led the way for Golden State on the offensive end. He finished the series-clinching win with a team-high 34 points, seven rebounds and seven assists, adding yet another chapter to his already storied career.

The rest of the Warriors offered Curry plenty of help as Andrew Wiggins, Jordan Poole, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson all scored in double figures as well. On the other end, the Celtics were led by Jaylen Brown, who did all he could with 34 points, seven rebounds and three assists, but unfortunately for Boston fans, it wasn’t enough to extend their season one more game.

The NBA had named Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh as their Indian brand ambassador in September last year. The trendsetting actor has been an avid follower of the game, even more so since he attended the NBA All-Star Game. Ranveer was ecstatic to learn about Golden State’s victory and took to Instagram to appreciate the teamwork of the the Warriors, putting them at the summit of NBA, where they belong.

Shooting over double-teams from the logo, crossing people over and shooting beyond half court, step backs under pressure, runners off one leg from 35 feet, simply the greatest display of shooting we’ve ever seen! The ‘Baby Faced Assassin’ took multiple victims in his ‘shootout’ against the Celtics, en-route to his maiden NBA Finals MVP. Ranveer Singh was mesmerized by this scintillating performance that surely, Stephen Curry now makes a strong case for the Top-10 NBA Players of all time.

Ranveer Singh also lauded the determination and grit of the Warriors, as he admired how each individual played their best basketball in order to make this Championship victory possible. There was a lot of speculation about where Golden State will be at the end of this NBA season, after suffering their worst couple of years in recent history. The horrific end to the 2019 NBA Finals, which saw Klay suffering a torn ACL, coupled with 2 of their worst seasons in recent history, some people were assuming the dynasty had died, well, seems like it won’t so soon. After having gone through so much, Golden State have reinstated their position back among the elite, with Stephen Curry as their ‘Achilles’ .

The superstar participated in the 2022 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game scheduled on 20th February. Not only a participant, Singh was a part of team Walton which emerged as winners over their competition, team Nique. Ranveer become only the second Indian to play in the NBA All-Star game. His appearance makes for a truly landmark moment and in truly customary style of Ranveer Singh, he dazzled the world on the red carpet prior to the game in his statement Luis Viton.

Warriors were plagued with several injuries, as they suffered for 2 years, being mocked and trolled for being a shadow of their former selves. People keep forgetting the lesson that ‘Warriors’ is their name, a part of who they are, they don’t give up. They forget who scary a healthy Warriors team can be, there is a reason that it’s called a ‘Warriors Dynasty’, Ranveer aptly stated ” The Poole Party has just started”
