Jimmy Butler sends Heat vs Celtics EC Finals to Game 7

Many expected Boston Celtics to pave their way into the NBA Finals to lock horns against the Golden State Warriors after Game 6. With Tyler Herro out for the top-seed of East, they have significantly lacked to fire from long range. Which in turn had helped Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown to expose Erik Spoelstra’s team in Games 4 and 5, taking a 3-2 advantage in the EC Finals.

Moreover, with the likes of Jimmy Butler coming back to produce his best-ever playoff performance with sensational 47 points in Game 6, Boston Celtics fans were made to cancel their party plans. Not only that, Miami heat has gone onto establish their dominance, with the betting odds and momentum shifting in their favor ahead of Game 7. Quite unimaginable scenes in Boston as Celtics fans also gave oud the saddest ever cheer to their team.

In a video that went viral Boston Celtics were reportedly forced to walk on the Subway wherein they can be seen giving a dull ‘Lets Go Celtics’ chant. Perhaps showing the atmosphere which was inside the TD Garden when Butler went onto showcase his true self despite struggling with right knee inflammation concerns.

Talking about the particular Game 6 showdown, it was all a Jimmy Butler show as he dropped game-high 47 points. Which was interestingly the most points ever scored by a Heats player in an elimination game. Not only Butler, but even Kyle Lowry rose up to the occasion to register 18 points against his name.

On the other hand, Boston Celtics were led by Jayson Tatum with 30 points. While Derrick White and Jaylen Brown registered 22 and 20 points respectively. Having experienced the best of Jimmy Butler, Erik Spoelstra would be keen on sending Tyler Herro on the floor as well. Given that the intensity is going to be insane in Game 7, will the home team manage to secure their 2nd NBA Finals appearances in 3 years? Or will be Celtics making their first NBA Finals appearance for the first time since 2010? Remains to be seen.
