The NBA Draft event went by and the Charlotte Hornets with their second overall pick selected Brandon Miller from the University of Alabama.
Brando Miller was recently under fire on Twitter as a result of his outrageous take on the Goat Debate with Miller picking Paul George as his ”Goat” discrediting the likes of LeBron James and his new boss, Michael Jordan. It looks like the rookie hasn’t learned a lesson since then as he is back with another outlandish comment.
The former Alabama forward was interviewed shortly after he was drafted and was asked about his new home, the Charlotte Hornets and Miller did not lack in the confidence department as he said: “I can see the Charlotte Hornets in the NBA Finals next year.“
Call it confidence or a frail attempt from him trying to hype up his new team but what the Rookie said right after he was drafted might be worse than his Paul George take.
One funny conspiracy has erected after Brandon went No.2 that he was picked up by Michael Jordan with the 2nd pick because Miller has called out Jordan by revealing that MJ air-balled a free-throw during his draft workout.
NBA Fans react to Brandon Miller’s PROJECTION of the Hornet’s upcoming season
NBA fans on Twitter seemed to take notice of Miller’s horrible takes including the Goat debate conversation and now his unrealistic projection of their upcoming season. Fans called out the rookie saying that his claim of the Hornets making the finals is his worst take yet.
Even taking this situation on a serious level, the Hornets are still a tanking team and with the team experiencing changes in ownership the team is still too far removed from an NBA Championship.

The Hornets haven’t won a playoff series in 13 years let alone making the NBA Finals but a rookie with an unwavering confidence might actually be the foundation piece that the organization needs in order to build towards a Championship.
