“This ni**a is retarded” – Brandon Miller gets TORCHED for dismissing LeBron James from GOAT debate for Paul George
Brandon Miller is a huge fan of Paul George's game

Brandon Miller was drafted as the number 2 pick overall in the 2023 NBA Draft
Brandon Miller, an alumnus of the University of Alabama is one of the best draft prospects this year. He is projected to be selected 2nd overall in the NBA draft by the New Orleans Hornets. The Hornets were initially very keen on pursuing another incredibly talented prospect in Scoot Henderson, however, the team already has LaMelo Ball at the point guard position which makes their decision easier going forward.
Miller and Henderson were invited for workouts with the Hornets in which both were equally impressive. After their second workout this week in which the two also got the opportunity to meet the Hornets‘ former majority owner Michael Jordan, Miller seemed to gain a slight edge over Henderson. LaMelo Ball too, would be keen to play with someone that has the skill set of Miller – Great size and shooting which would make him a terrific three-and-D player and fill the desperately needed wing spot for the Hornets.
Speaking to Shams Charania in a one-on-one interview a month ago, Miller mentioned that one of the players he models his game after is Los Angeles Clippers forward Paul George. Cut to today, Miller has been doing media rounds leading up to draft night on Thursday and one of the questions he was asked was one to which there hasn’t been a definitive answer till date – Who is the GOAT of basketball? LeBron James or Michael Jordan?
Miller’s answer however took everyone by surprise. He said, “I actually don’t think LeBron is the GOAT of basketball. My GOAT of basketball is Paul George. I always grew up watching him, so it was never just LeBron”. How many active and retired players, analysts or even fans have PG13 as their GOAT? That would be an interesting research to conduct and find the answers to.
NBA Twitter has a field day after Brandon Miller’s GOAT response

While Miller did give the GOAT debate a fresh new perspective, here are some of the best reactions to his choice:
Miller is certainly entitled to his opinion and it would be great to see him and George compete against one another on the court next season. Who knows, George might even invite Miller to be on an episode of his podcast before the season starts. That would surely make for a fun and interesting conversation.
