“A disturbing call with Cherelle” Brittney Griner’s condition going worse in Russian prison

Brittney Griner is crying out for help and support while the Russian authorities run her through torture claims her wife, Cherelle. The WNBA athlete has been sent to the Russian Penal Colonies for her sentencing and these areas are not particularly known for their friendliness.

Cherelle Griner spoke about a second conversation with her convicted wife and claims that the former Olympian is struggling to carry on. “You could hear that she was not okay… It was the most disturbing phone call I’d ever experienced… B.G. has truly suffered beyond her crime already,” she said.

“I don’t know if she has anything left in her tank to continue to wake up every day and be in a place where she has no one… She’s, like, saying things to me like, ‘My life just don’t even matter no more. ‘You know, ‘I feel like my life just doesn’t matter. Like, I’m just being tossed around, like, for people’s enjoyment and gain.'”

Cherelle Griner keeps her faith strong in President Joe Biden

So far, the United States government has only sorted out one solution to this issue, that is a prisoner swap. President Joe Biden claims that he is willing to trade convicted arm dealer Viktor Bout in exchange for Brittney Griner and former Marine Paul Whelan, who was imprisonment for espionage.

According to Cherelle, the US government has requested the Russians for leniency towards BG. “He’s doing what he can. But there’s another party in this situation, and we also are dealing with the need for Russia to have mercy on B.G. as well. Once that hearing is held, and the order is finalized, B.G.’s now in the position where she could be moved to a labor camp.”

Cherelle claims she is a hundred dedicated towards her wife’s release and so is Joe Biden. The Russians have no accepted the US’s offer of a prisoner swap. Tensions revolve around Brittney Griner’s safety especially because of her sexual orientation. The Russians are much less accepting of these things.
