Official camera crew following Boston Celtics for ‘Last Dance’ type documentary series has fans in splits

The Boston Celtics are currently one of the best teams in the ongoing season of the NBA. And they have been for the past few years now. They have three Eastern Conference finals appearances in the last four years. And one finals appearance in 2022.
The Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck has revealed on the Greg Hill Show that they have been filming a multi-part docuseries throughout this season. A camera crew has been following the players behind the scenes. Grousbeck also said that despite the win or loss at the end of the season, the documentary will be released.
Reportedly, the documentary series will be similar to Michael Jordan‘s ‘The Last Dance’. The Last Dance was based on Jordan’s amazing basketball career with the Chicago Bulls. The widely acclaimed documentary captured everything from the start of his career as a player for the Bulls and all the ups and downs that came along the way.
The current season has been good for the Celtics. They presently have a record of (43-12), the best in the league. They are also the first seed in the Eastern Conference. Undoubtedly, they are one of the contenders for the finals this year.
Fans troll the Celtics for making the documentary series
Despite being in the conference finals multiple times for the past few years, the Celtics have failed to reach the ultimate goal of winning the NBA championship. They have had great performances in both the regular season and the playoffs but were unable to perform in the crucial times.
They have even lost the NBA finals in 2022 to the Golden State Warriors. Hence, fans on social media did not hold back in trolling the team for filming the documentary despite not winning after coming so close for the past four years.
Fans will certainly keep an eye on Celtic’s performance this year based on the documentary news. It will be interesting to watch the Celtic’s performance in the upcoming playoffs. The details are yet to be revealed regarding the documentary.
