“If you sit on your a** all the time your back is probably gonna hurt” Charles Barkley brutally roasts Ben Simmons for ‘faking’ back injury

Ben Simmons and Charles Barkley
Charles Barkley has had enough of Ben Simmons drama, which ranges from back injuries to his mental health, which has helped him skip the entire season this year, and it hasn’t just been the case while he was in the Brooklyn Nets but also while he was a part of the Philadelphia 76ers’ squad, Ben Simmons was traded to the Brooklyn Nets along with Seth Curry and Andre Drummond in exchange of James Harden.
Initially when this trade happened, the entire world had the views that the Nets had won this trade, but now it seems as if we went completely wrong in our calculations, as we now call this one of the worst trades in the history of the sport for the Nets.

Ben Simmons decided he was going to be out for the Nets’ game 4 against the Boston Celtics as well, while his team trailed by a 3-0 margin, with just one loss away from being thrown out of the playoffs. Simmons was present courtside in game 3 and then stated that he wouldn’t play in game 4 as well, citing soreness in the back, making it official that he missed out the entire season. He missed the games when his team needed him the most, and not a long time later, the Nets were clean swept by the Boston Celtics, making them the first and the only team to suffer the terrible 4-0 stat this year.

Ben Simmons sat out an entire season and surely, Charles Barkley wasn’t a big fan of it. He brutally roasted Simmons with one single line, that went viral and made everyone on the entire internet laugh. Let us take a closer look at what Chuck said in order to roast Simmons and make his point clear.

Charles Barkley is often known as the guy who is honest and straightforward with his opinions and statements, and he continued to be the same when he spoke about Ben Simmons and his “injury” which has kept him out of the season all year long, missing all the games and not even playing a minute, even when his team needed him the most.
When the Inside Guys were talking about Simmons, Barkley abruptly said, “If you sit on your ass all the time your back is probably gonna hurt” and followed it up with, “but that’s just me”. This statement from Barkley comes in wake of the incidents that have been occurring recently involving Simmons and the Nets, who clearly lost the trade. The player was even asked by his team to play a few minutes if not the entire game, which he denied, ending his season with 0 activity.
