Charles Barkley is one of the most decorated power forwards the NBA has ever had to walk on its courts. Charles, who is also known as “The Chuckster” was an 11-time All-Star and made multiple All-NBA selections during his career. The former Phoenix Suns MVP had also helped the USA Basketball Team win two gold medals in 1992 and 1996 as well as the FIBA Americas Championship.

Chuck is widely known for his comedic personality and hilarious arguments with his co-panelists on the show Inside the NBA. The Hall of Famer is known for other reasons as well, one of them being his temper. He is never afraid to get into it with his cast members or whether it is with other TV analysts either. Barkley has shown remorse towards the actions of his youth days as they were highly dangerous situations sometimes.

Charles Barkley was openly aggressive on the court but what most of us may not know about was his tendency to get into fights outside of the game. Barkley was once arrested for five hours in Orlando after allegedly causing bloodshed. A fan had apparently thrown a drink toward Chuck after which he slammed the man through a glass window of a bar. The “fan” was left lying in his blood while the police had taken the NBA star into cuffs.

Witnesses claimed that Chuckster did not show any kind of remorse saying, “For all I care, you can lay there and die.” Quite the scary statement for such a lovable character on television. The former Suns superstar spent the night in jail before being released on a $6,000 bond. But in his defense, fans often cross the line even after being kindly requested to step away.

Chuck made his debut with the hit TNT show Inside the NBA and quickly gained the hearts of millions who tune in to watch the analysts speak.
