Charles Barkley has earned his reputation as a legend in the world of basketball. The 6″6 forward was one of the most dominant if not then best player in the league during his career. His strength in skill earned him several accolades including league’s Most Valuable Player in 1993 and multiple All-NBA selections as well.

He had a fairly successful career with the Philadelphia 76ers reaching the conference finals with the team. In 1993, he signed with the Phoenix Suns and quickly became the face of the franchise. Unfortunately, he never won an NBA title. Towards the end of his run with the league, his health started to decline eventually leading upto his career ending knee injury in 1999.

Charles Barkley was a very interesting character on television appearing on several occasions during his career and making it his full time job after it. Right after retirement, he joined the hit Turner Sports Media’s show Inside the NBA. He became a main stay on their set due to popular demand and his hilarious personality.

Eventually, Shaquille O’Neal joined the team and the show is now one of the most watched sports entertainment programs. Recently, there was a very controversial situation involving Chuck and LIV Golf wanting to sign him. This would have forced him to quit Turner and join them but due to a lack of communication, Barkley called off all discussions and committed to his current team.

If there is one aspect of Charles Barkley that people know him by, it could be his fearless attitude. The former MVP has always used his platform to speak openly without a filter. On many occasions, he has gotten himself into trouble putting his name and reputation on the line with many of his dealings and endorsers.

During the 2009 Eastern Conference Finals, the famous group hosted the series commentary. Long time host Ernie Johnson took a moment to thank the show’s producer, “By the way, Tim Kiely our producer, the absolute best in the business, so thanks to TK.” Chuck is response to that faked a sneeze and called him a “pu**y” under his breath. Reggie Miller who was part of the set replied saying, “What are you doing? What is wrong with you?”
