Charles Barkley and Shaq are arguably two of the funniest Hall of Famers who seem to get the humorous side of anything and everything in the NBA world. But this time it was the former who clowned his ‘friend’ amid rekindled beef with Utah Jazz star Rudy Gobert. Safe to say, the former Phoenix Suns MVP is enjoying every bit of this drama.

To those who are not aware, Shaq recently went onto state that Gobert will not be able to guard him. To which the latter stated, “I’ll be able to lock his a** up.” As interesting and intriguing as the beef sounds, Charles Barkley cannot have enough of it as he went onto trigger Shaquille O’Neal even more.

On the most recent episode of NBA on TNT, Charles Barkley decided to add fuel to the fire by discussing the same topic. Being witty as ever, Barkley chose Gobert in a 1-on-1 contest only to tempt Shaq further into the beast mode.

“He’s gonna hurt kids in the stands blocking yo shot,” Barkley said. 

O’Neal is adamant that he would be able to dominate Gobert in a hypothetical 1-on-1 game. The Los Angeles Lakers icon is overly confident that he would cook Gobert if they faced off on the basketball court, assuming that this was during Shaq’s prime, of course. But on the other hand, Charles Barkley cannot stop himself from laughing as hard as he can, probably indicating what response he wanted out of his friend on the same discussion.

There are no two ways in stating that NBA on TNT is probably the best-basketball-talk-show. But to even witness two friends pulling each other’s leg in this fashion is pretty funny to say the least. Hopefully Shaq takes a note of his next response to Rudy Gober and Barkley will surely be keeping an eye to add more fuel to the flame. Will there be more drama between the two-hot-shots in the league? Who will decided to elaborate upon the beef? Remains to be seen.
