Charles Barkley HILARIOUSLY pleads allegiance to Beyonce and claims to be part of ‘Beyhive’

American musical artist Beyonce, dubbed “Queen Bey,” is one of the most prominent figures in pop culture. She is beloved by a lot of people across the world and also has immense fans in the sporting world. An American former basketball legend is one of them.

Charles Barkley revealed that he is a big fan of Beyonce, which ultimately makes him a part of the “Beyhive.” On tonight’s telecast of Inside the NBA hosted on TNT, Charles Barkley and his co-panelists were talking during the halftime show.

Barkley was asked by colleague Kenny Smith about his reference to Beyonce and other musicians.

I didn't know you was part of hive Chuck. I see you boo boo.

Shaquille O’Neal said to Barkley, as they started to check halftime stats,

I'm part of the hive.

To this Barkley confirmed

This admission just sent the entire panel laughing hysterically. Confirming that Barkley is a Beyonce fan just brought out the trolls from the rest of the panelists. Interestingly enough, prior to this hilarious banter, show host Ernie Johnson and Barkley were arguing about how many songs Beyonce has put out as part of her upcoming country album. 

In fact, it was Barkley who shot back at Johnson, saying that her album is not out yet despite those two songs. This kind of confirmed that Barkley was indeed a fan of the multiple Grammy Award-winning artist. 

For the uninitiated, fans of certain musicians are known by their community nicknames. Beyonce’s most endearing and passionate fans are known to be a part of the Beyhive.

With that being said, there is no denying that the way the former Philadelphia 76ers superstar corrected Johnson and talked about Beyonce, it was evident that he had indeed joined the Beyhive.

Charles Barkley and his association with musical artists

NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley has been known to have met and been associated with musical artists throughout his playing career. 

After all, he was one of the biggest superstars in the sport of basketball. His exploits for Team USA basketball with the Dream Team made him popular. Barkley was playing for the Phoenix Suns at the time. He was linked with the queen of pop, Madonna after she was seen courtside during one of his games. 

Furthermore, Barkley has also come out in defense of Travis Kelce’s girlfriend and popular personality, Taylor Swift after fans trolled her for ruining NFL games. He was quick to call out even other high-profile figures in America for talking about Swift’s impact on the sport. That’s not all; more interestingly, Charles Barkley took up music as a major while at Auburn University.
